Ring Protect Basic covers a Ring video door station or security camera for just $3.99/month or $39.99/year. This will capture all videos captured by your Ring device and save them to your account. You can watch all your videos at your convenience and download them to save later and share with friends, family and other users.

Ring Protect Plus covers an unlimited number of Ring video intercoms and security cameras in one location for just $10/month or $100/year. All videos taken by the doorbell and/or camera are captured and saved to your account. You can watch all your videos whenever you want, save the videos you want to download for later, or if you want, share saved videos with friends, family and other users. You also get an extended warranty on each qualifying device for as long as your Protect Plus subscription is valid.

No. You can use Ring doorbells and cameras to monitor your home from anywhere, even without a Ring Protect subscription. Even without Ring Protect, you'll receive real-time alerts when someone knocks on your door, and you can respond to the alert from anywhere in the world to see, hear and speak to visitors in real time right from your mobile device. However, without a Ring Protect subscription, you will not be able to watch the videos you missed in real time, and you will not be able to save or share your videos with others through the Ring app.

Ring Protect is available for all Ring video intercoms and security cameras. All devices come with a 30-day Ring Protect free trial to discover all the features and benefits. After installing your Ring device, you will be given the option to enroll in Ring Protect. If you decide to subscribe to Ring Protect during the free trial period, you will be charged after the trial period ends.

If you have a Ring Protect Plus subscription, all Ring devices registered to one location are automatically covered. If you have a Ring Protect Basic plan and want your new device covered, you can add another Ring Protect Basic plan or upgrade to Ring Protect Plus at Ring.com.

No. You will need to sign up for Ring Protect Plus separately for each address you want covered.

Ring accepts Visa and Mastercard and SEPA credit cards through Ring.com. Ring does not accept payments by cash, check or money order.

All payments sent to our mailing address will be returned to you with a request to purchase and pay for a Ring Protect subscription online. Payments sent to Ring by mail may result in errors in the validity period of coverage. If you do not subscribe to Ring Protect Online and pay for it during the 30-day trial period or before the end of your current subscription, your saved video recordings may be lost and cannot be recovered.

Discount applies to Ring products on Ring.com only. You must be logged into your Ring account at Ring.com to use your discount. If you are a new subscriber, you will need to log out and log back in to use your discount immediately after signing up for Ring Protect Plus. Here you can read the complete discount conditions:

1. Discount only applies to users who have a Ring Protect Basic or Plus subscription at the time of purchase. The discount cannot be applied retroactively. Therefore, you cannot buy a device and sign up for Ring Protect Basic or Plus to get a discount.
2. The discount cannot be combined with other offers, including offers with a limited validity period.
3. The discount is non-transferable.
4. Discount cannot be applied to non-Ring products. Discount applies to all Ring cameras, doorbells, accessories and multipacks.
5. It is not possible to subscribe to Ring Protect Basic or Plus and use the 10% discount in the same transaction.
6. You must be logged into your Ring.com account to use the discount during checkout. The discount can be used at the next login session after closing Ring Protect Basic or Plus. Sign out and sign in again to use the discount immediately.
7. The email used to sign up for Ring Protect must be used at checkout.
8. We reserve the right not to apply these terms.

For the extended warranty, the Ring device must still be covered by the original limited warranty period when you subscribe to Ring Protect Plus. At the end of the original limited warranty period, your device will be covered by Ring Protect Plus until you cancel your subscription. Ringless and third-party devices are not eligible for the extended warranty. If you are a consumer, the limited and extended warranties apply in addition to and without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.

Your videos will remain on your Ring account for up to 180 days if you live in one of the following countries: Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland.

You can remove your videos from your account at any time. Deleted videos cannot be recovered.
